Dr.
Michael Stephen Bird was born in Clarksburg, WV. He was a son of a preacher and a teacher, Rev. John and Mrs. Ellen Bird.
Married Rose-Lynn Cavaretta in 1990 and raised three children. Attended, University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, receiving
a bachelors degree in 1981 (cum laude); Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, receiving masters degree in 1996 (honors);
and Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, receiving a Ph.D. in Information Technology in 2010 (summa cum laude) .
Currently, he is a dedicated full professor at a major university, as well as he is an author, public speaker, and is involved
in his local community.
